New Horizons is available to provide education and awareness in schools, businesses, service organizations, law enforcement agencies, child protection agencies, judicial, religious organizations and more. *If you are in a surrounding county we encourage you to contact your local program as all counties have a DV program and some also have a SA program.

Stalking Awareness Month January is a month to ensure we are spreading awareness about the dangers of stalking and how persons can protect themselves.
Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month January is a month to ensure we are providing education and outreach to our community by sharing what human trafficking looks like. The more it is recognized the more we can prevent this from continuing.
Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month February is a month to ensure we are promoting healthy relationships amongst teens and spreading awareness in the community.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month April is a month to ensure we are promoting awareness about sexual assault, healthy sexuality and healthy kids. Watch for awareness events at local schools and throughout the community in Trempealeau County.
Child Abuse Prevention Month April is a month to ensure we are promoting child abuse prevention, safe adults and safe interventions and spreading awareness in the community. Watch for awareness events at local schools and throughout the community.
Volunteer Appreciation Week (April 23rd-29th) New Horizons holds an annual dinner at the end of April to serve and support all of our Volunteers throughout the last year.
Crime Victim Rights Week (April 2nd-8th) New Horizons collaborates with a local committee of various victim services agencies to ensure victim rights are known and available.
Domestic Violence Awareness Month October is a month to ensure we are promoting awareness around various forms of domestic violence, healthy relationships and how to support friends/family. Watch for awareness events throughout our communities.
