If you are
interested in contributing monetary donations to our agency,
they may be addressed to New Horizons Shelter and Outreach
Centers and mailed to P.O. Box 2031, La Crosse, WI 54602.
Face-to-Face
If you are
interested in contributing a monetary donation in person or
if you wish to donate items for our boutique or food room,
we invite you to visit us at Our La Crosse Outreach
Center which is located
at 1223 Main St, La Crosse, WI. You may click on

to view our current needs.
Our Donation Center
hours are Monday (12:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.), Wednesday 9:00
a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) and Thursday 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.).
If our typical donation hours do not coincide with your
schedule, please leave us a message at 608-791-2610 ext. 300 to make accommodations.
Volunteer
Yearly, volunteers
contribute over 8,000 hours of work within our agency. If
you are interested in joining our team as a volunteer,
please feel free to visit us. Our typical office hours at
our La Crosse Outreach
Center are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m.
to 4:00 p.m. If you would like more information

Fundraisers
As a nonprofit
agency, we rely heavily on financial contributions from the
general public to supplement our funding from federal, state
and county grants and contracts as well as the financial
assistance we receive from the Great Rivers United Way.
Annually we host several fundraisers to subsidize the
financial support needed to continue offering our free and
confidential services. If you are interested in attending

Trip, Inc.

You
can earn money for you favorite charity, group or
organization when you purchase items on your
Kwik Rewards Fund-Raising Program.
Using
your Kwik Trip card, you can donate a percentage of your
spending (no cost to you)
to New Horizons, by informing Kwik Trip that
you would like this percentage to benefit New Horizons.
eBay, Inc.
In collaboration
with Sell-it-all-Online and their Charitable partners
program, www.ebay.com has created a donation program in
which 10% of the purchase price of an auction item will go
to a designated charity of your choice.
New Horizons Shelter
and Outreach Centers has signed on to the program and can
begin receiving donations now!
So how does this
work? When shopping on eBay, link through our charity
website (do not enter www.):
newhorizons.inlacrosse.com
From this site, an
eBay link can be added to any computers “favorites” or can
be accessed by clicking on the eBay link “Click on eBay!” If
a purchase is made in the auction or at an eBay store, 10%
of the purchase price will be donated to New Horizons. For
example, if an item's final purchase price is $50.00, not
including tax and shipping, eBay will donate $5.00 to New
Horizons.
If an individual is
a seller on eBay, the seller can list this information in
the sale. If purchasers then use the link, New Horizons can
end up receiving donations from all over the world.
So does this cost
the buyer extra? The answer is no. Ebay collects fees when
an item is listed on the site. eBay is paying out the
donations from the fees that it has collected; it does not
cost anything extra for the buyer or seller.
How will New
Horizons receive their donation? Sell-it-all-Online is the
contracted party in which eBay will release donations. Sell-it-all-Online
will send New Horizons a check every quarter with the
donations from Ebay. The funds are undesignated, which means
new Horizons can use them to fund the programs that need it
the most.
How can you help?
Shop at eBay through our link! Tell everyone you know to do
