June 15th is Elder Abuse Awareness Day & June is LGBT Pride Month!

National Elder Abuse Awareness Day (June 15th, 2015) is a time to recognize that we each play a part in promoting the social and emotional well-being of our elders in our communities.

National LGBT Pride Month is currently celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots in Manhattan. The Stonewall riots were a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States.
