Our typical office hours at our La Crosse Outreach Center are Monday – Friday from 9:00a – 4:00p. If you would like more information please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at 608-791-2610 ext 1301 or visit our volunteer opportunities here. We offer Advocacy Training for volunteers, interns, and community members three times per year in February, May and September. It is a three-day training period with sessions held in the evening. Mandatory for volunteers and interns. Community members are encouraged to attend all three nights.
As a nonprofit agency, we rely heavily on financial contributions from the general public to supplement our funding from federal, state and county grants and contracts as well as the financial assistance we receive from the Great Rivers United Way. Annually we host several fundraisers to subsidize the financial support needed to continue offering our free and confidential services. If you are interested in attending one of our fundraisers, simply click on Special Events for a current calendar.
