January
Stalking Awareness Month January is a month to ensure we are spreading awareness about the dangers of stalking and how persons can protect themselves.

Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month January is a month to ensure we are providing education and outreach to our community by sharing what human trafficking looks like. The more it is recognized the more we can prevent this from continuing. 

February
Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month February is a month to ensure we are promoting healthy relationships amongst teens and spreading awareness in the community.

April
Sexual Assault Awareness Month April is a month to ensure we are promoting awareness about sexual assault, healthy sexuality and healthy kids. Watch for awareness events at local schools and throughout the community in Trempealeau County.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month October is a month to ensure we are promoting awareness around various forms of domestic violence, healthy relationships and how to support friends/family. Watch for awareness events throughout our communities.

The Stewards of Children® training is the award-winning program from Darkness to Light–and is the only nationally available program that is scientifically proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes and change child-protective behaviors. Appropriate for any adult, this training will teach you how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. We offer this several times during the year to the community, and are available by appointment to help educate private groups or organizations.
