The #1Thing campaign reminds us that if each of use commits to just one small action – whether it’s learning more about domestic violence, speaking up, or supporting someone in need – we can build safer, healthier communities.

Our First-Ever #1Thing Pledge Ribbon Campaign

This October, in honor of DVAM, New Horizons is partnering with local businesses in La Crosse and Trempealeau counties to help raise vital funds and spread awareness through our first-ever #1Thing Pledge Ribbon Campaign. Together, we’re inviting community members to take action and show their commitment to ending violence.

How You Can Participate

  • Donate $1 or more at any participating business
  • Receive a purple ribbon to write your name and your #1Thing pledge – a simple action you commit to that helps create a safer, healthier community.
  • Your ribbon will be displayed in the business throughout October, creating a powerful visual reminder of how small actions add up to big change.
